ROTRON® Transportation Brushless DC Motors
These motors provide long life up to 60,000-design hours even amid the harshest, most demanding operating conditions. In fact, they are resistant to water spray, salt, fog, shock and vibration.
The Electronically Commutated DC (ECDC™) motor design offers maintenance-free operation by eliminating brush motor failures and brush and commutator repairs.
The motors are also fully compliant with Buy America Requirements (Federal Regulation Title 49 CFR Part 661), making them ideal for your next motorcoach, transit bus, locomotive or off-road vehicle design.
