Uniting Under Bison: Celebrating Collaboration and Innovation

In May 2023, AMETEK Dynamic Fluid Solutions and Bison Gear and Engineering joined forces to form a powerful new business entity: Bison^®, operating under the esteemed AMETEK umbrella. This strategic collaboration marked a pivotal moment in the industry, combining the strengths and expertise of two industry leaders to create a unified force poised for innovation and growth.

To celebrate this transformative alliance and to engage employees worldwide, Bison launched an exciting contest named 'We Are Bison' in November 2023. The objective of the contest was to encourage employees to showcase their Bison spirit through creative and engaging event days held at each location – Kent, OH, Reynosa, Mexico, Shanghai, China; St Charles, IL and Whitsett, NC. Teams were tasked with organizing events that exemplified the essence of Bison's values and culture.

In one location, team members ingeniously incorporated a larger-than-life Bison cardboard cutout, adorning it with hats and other props for playful photo ops. Meanwhile, in another location, the team crafted oversized B-I-S-O-N letters, striking poses for spirited group photos. At yet another location, team members engaged in competitive sports, fostering teamwork and camaraderie through spirited volleyball matches. Adding to the festive ambiance, every team member proudly sported a brand-new Bison shirt provided by the company.
